How does SimplyTrak work?

The SimplyTrak vehicle tracking unit is fitted securely to your vehicle(s) and constantly monitors the vehicles position via the satellites that orbit the earth.

This information is stored (in the format of your choice) in the small SimplyTrak unit* within the vehicle. This data can then be uploaded (relayed over the Vodafone data network) at any time to your computer using the very easy-to-use SimplyTrak software provided.

Summary of Features:

Capture information about each vehicle (make, model, colour and the SimplyTrak assigned telephone number) - makes for easy selection when you have multiple vehicles to track.

Enter any known locations that you want to specifically appear on the map as you track your vehicle. For example, your offices, headquarters or customer depots.

Simply clicking the 'GO' button will allow you to select the vehicle unit you want to track. A few seconds later you can see it on screen.

Click on the vehicle icon on screen to obtain its location, current travelling speed and heading information.

This data can also be downloaded and stored or printed for reporting purposes.

• The 'History Report' - allows you to replay actual journeys made on your screen!

• The Journey report' - shows all journeys made between stops determined by you.

• The Stop report' - shows all stops made on whatever days you choose.

• The Stock report' - is a stock check of your vehicles locations at a particular time.
• The Speed report - shows all the times the vehicle has exceeded a set speed.

For added convenience reports can be viewed on screen or printed and known points can be added easily which appear on all reports. 

The system is web based so can be viewed from any computer with a user name and password.
